During the campaign Trump repeated again and again that he knows nothing about Project 2025, the brainchild of the Heritage Foundation, a right-wing organization of misfits, thieves, and humanity-haters. He also said he has no intention of following anything in it during the coming four years. As usual, he was lying through his teeth. It is a 920-page document that sets forth an agenda on how to strip the remaining wealth from the bottom 90 percent and give it to the top 10 percent. It would propel the US into a duopoly of incredible wealth by the few, and unspeakable squalor by the many. To achieve that end Project 2025 envisions eliminating most of the federal government’s programs and give that money to the ultra-wealthy. It is scheme that Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Vladimir Putin would love to be the author of. Project 2025 is the autocratic outline of how to assemble a group of misfits to head each cabinet position or agency for the purpose of destroying them, thence to shift their budgets to corporations and their stockholders to lead the destruction of the US government and our Constitution as we know them. It is an outline of how to take wealth from the poor and the middle class and give them to the already ultra-wealthy. Without wealth, there are no opportunities. Without opportunities there is no freedom. Without freedom there is no purpose. And without purpose there is no reason for civility
Is this what the MAGA-types voted for when they went into the voting booths across America in early November? Probably not. They are brain-washed lemmings. And to think that not a shot was fired. The 49.5 percent who voted for Trump gave in and gave up to an incorrigible dictator without a fight. That is what history will record. One ignoranmus is now leading 70 million ignoramuses. Good bye to the land of the free, and the home of the brave. Good bye to opportunities, self-reliance, and personal virtue. Goodbye to honor, decency, and the Spirit of 1776.
