Ultimately, though, Ellie is hurt when she finds out about the art scandal and Salvo is hurt when he finds out they're moving. Sebastian figures out that Ellie and his dad are what really matters and patches things up with them and agrees to stay in Chicago with the blessing of the whole family. THE END.

It is well acted, very believable chacters. Too emotional for a young child. They wouldn't understand all the misconceptions of the father. Parents should watch it 1st before letting a child watch it.

Sebastian and Ellie are a happy couple who are sensitive to each other's needs. Watching Experience: Quality(opinionated): (My rating) Rated PG-13 For language including a rude gesture, smoking, some sexual references and some nudity.

The best thing by far is De Niro and his zinger of a screwball-comedy performance. Fresh score. Just like how it happens here, even Hollywood doesn't mind revisiting mundane tropes only to have some fun. The film may not be original and refreshing, but Robert De Niro is as he calls himself in the film.

Salvo kills a peaco*ck (off-screen) and uses the beloved family pet in a dinner he is serving them. He later admits to Sebastian that he murdered 'Sergeant Feathers'. Sebastian and Salvo blame the dog for the peaco*ck's death when it comes running into the house with a mouthful of feathers.

The heartbreaking reality of his situation sinks in, and the audience is left with a profound sense of loss. The film does not provide a neat resolution; instead, it invites reflection on the devastating impact of dementia on both the individual and their loved ones.
